The exterior of the cap is quite clean, with only a small hole to the red piping on the top side of the crown. The Saxon and national colors cockades are present on the front of the cap. The interior shows wear and use, with the lining have a few small holes. The lining bears the regimental markings of the 102nd (3rd Royal Saxon) Infantry Regiment “King Ludwig III of Bavaria”. Overall excellent condition.
