Imperial Prussian Model 1905 Jaeger Zu Pferde EM/NCO Helmet

The blackened finish of the helmet exterior is largely intact, showing typical scuffs and scratches, as well as a few minor indentations. The spike and the spike base show wear to the finish. The Prussian wappen helmet plate remains affixed to the front, showing patina and verdigris. The original leather chin strap is present, although the strap is broken at one end, with the chin strap bale remaining present. The national colors cockade is a replacement. The Prussian colors cockades appears to be an original period example, but it is of the smaller size normally found on the conventional pickelhaube The leather liner is present on the interior, showing expected signs of wear and use, but being complete and intact. The interior bears a manufacturer name plate. Overall very good field used condition.
