The leather body of the helmet exhibits typical age crazing. The helmet shows some slight age shrinkage, putting the spike very slightly askew. Both the front wappen helmet plate as well as the spike and base all show wear to the finish. The helmet has two mounting holes into which the front plate is fastened. The helmet is lacking the cockades and the leather chin strap. The interior liner is intact, showing wear and without the drawstring. Overall very good field used condition.
