The half liter pottery stein is approximately 6 inches tall, exclusive of the thumb lift. The stein was presented by the Unteroffizier Korps of Cavalry Regiment 3 (“Reiter Regiment) in Stendal. The regiment would take part in the annexation of Austria during the Third Reich before being dissolved in 1939. The lid shows patina and verdigris. The stein is in overall excellent condition, without chips or cracks. The base has a maker mark.
