The 1 liter stoneware stein is approximately 7-3/4 inches tall, exclusive of the thumb lift. The top of the lid has a porcelain drinking scene. The stein has a small edge crack on the top beneath the lid, as well as surface spots and smudges, but overall the stein is in very good condition.
