The four piece desk set contains a tray which bears a relief map of the north Pacific area, to include the coast of China, the Korean peninsula, and portions of the Japanese islands. Kanji reads “Japan 6th Destroyer Fleet”. The set also includes a box with a relief sailing ship design on the lid; a letter or document holder, also with a sailing ship design; and a pen box with glass liner insert, also displaying a sailing ship motif. Overall the set is in very good condition.
