Crystic® GT-600 is a pre-accelerated, isophthalic polyester-based gelcoat for brush or roller application. Crystic® GT-600 is most commonly used in the manufacture and repair of waterborne transportation, in the transportation industries, and in the production of a variety of sports equipment, artwork, and architecture. Can also be used as a composite gelcout. USE: The application thickness of the Crystic® GT-600 should be approximately 0.6-0.8 mm or 600-800 microns, which is approximately 600-700 grams of gelcout per square meter. Gelcoat can be used as a topcoat by adding and mixing 2-4% Crystic® Solution MW paraffin . The Crystic® GT-600 is certified by the Lloyd’s Register for the use of gelcoat in ship and waterborne construction and repair.
