Additional Notes: The Bavarian Fire Service Merit Cross was awarded for meritorious services for firefighting at the Bavarian Fire Service. The ribbon is light blue with white edges, white edge stripes and two narrow white stripes. There are 3 grades for the fire service merit cross: Bronze grade for 25 years’ service, Silver grade for 40 years’ service and Gold grade for 50 years’ service.
