The first pattern army pack exhibits spots and stains from use in the field, but it is without holes, damage or repairs. The metal rings of the pack exhibit rust consistent with use in a tropical environment. The interior of the pack has issue stamps which include the date of 1939, superseded by the “Octopus Pack”. All carrying and attachment straps are intact. Overall good field used condition.
