The silk flag is approximately 27-1/2 inches by 39 inches. The flag has two reinforced corners with cord ties. The flag is signed by Senjūrō Hayashi, who was a General in the Imperial Japanese Army and who served as Japanese Prime Minister for four months in 1937. He served as Imperial Japanese Army Commander of the Japanese Korean Army during the Mukden Incident and the invasion of Manchuria. The flag is also signed by Duke Ichijo Sanetaka. The flag is without holes or damage and it is in very good condition.
