The visor cap is constructed in a fine quality ribbed olive green wool with red wool cap band. Both the body of the cap and the cap band show a few small holes. The front visor displays crazing and some heat damage to the leather surface. The interior leather sweatband is intact, as is the full black silk lining. The lining is emboidered with kanji, this being the name of the army officer who owned the cap The cap has a fine saddle shape and it makes a good appearance.
